NME:--UK music-licensing company PPL has announced the most popular Manchester songs of the 21st century so far - and the top three are by Take That.The company examined data based on the music played in TV, radio and online broadcasts, as well as songs played in public (gyms, pubs, shops, for example) to find the most popular tracks by Manchester artists. --Gary Barlow's band's tracks 'Shine', 'Rule The World' and 'Patience' took the top three spots - and Take That's tunes represented 25 per cent of the Top 20 songs by Manchester artists. t.co/TEFR2BTB Attachments:

Robbie returned to Take That for an album and tour last year and although he is now going back to his solo career, Gary believes they will be friends forever after patching up their differences. He added to the Daily Telegraph: "I do feel like it wasn't just an 18-month thing with me and Rob. I think we'll be friends forever now." ---At the end of last year's Progress Live tour, Gary promised the rest of Take That - Mark Owen, Howard Donald and Jason Orange - a year off, but still stays in contact with his band mates socially. -He said: "I promised everybody a year off. Cause we've pretty much done album, tour, album, tour for five years. So I said to everyone as we left the tour, 'I'll call you in a year.' "Of course, I've called 'em all.
