The Three Musketeers become five as Take That release their second single and the theme song to new swashbuckling film They're French, wear moustaches, accessorise with feathers and are swashbuckling fighters of injustice. So it's a bit baffling why Take That - English, clean-shaven and brandishing no weapons - would think that the Three Musketeers remind them of themselves. But, whatever the reason, it didn't stop the band being asked to do what they do best and write yet another perfect pop song to be the theme of the new film adaption about the famed swordsmen and their ever-faithful D'Artagnan. Home - Take That Appreciation Pages/Special NoteClosing of TTAP Home www.take-that.co.uk/Thank you to everyone who has visited the site over the past 15 years, especially to those of you who have taken part on our forums and attended our events. I have felt very priviledged to have run the site for the past 12 years, taking over from Julia Wharton its creator when the site crashed and files lost in 1999. I have met some wonderful Thatters, some of whom have become close friends. There have been wonderful memories, particularly in the "wilderness" years, when we chatted for hours on the forums, held Christmas parties and other events. Thatters kept that dream alive here on TTAP all those years and in 2005 we were rewarded with Take That On the Record documentary, followed by the wonderful news that they were going to return to us once again. Many of us at that time were really worried that things may not be the same as they were, but our worries soon evaporated with that first return concert on 23rd April 2006, when they appeared before us in Newcastle and they were most definitely back . . . but they were different . . . they were even better! The dream was realised but the past 12 months for me haven't felt the same and so I feel the need to step back and move on to other things. My passion for Take That as they came back to us in 2006 will never wane and I will always be a Thatter, but times change and this year's Thattereen on 29th October 2011 will be our last. Thank you so much for being part of this wonderful experience. Jan xxxx Attachments:

Take That Across Europe with Tait Tait made important contributions to the record breaking Take That ‘Progress’ European tour this summer. With Robbie Williams re-joining UK’s Take That, the band was keen to build on its reputation for wowing audiences with spectacular live shows. Production manager Chris Vaughan explains: “This is a very complex production, I gave some specific scenic elements to Tait and having never worked with them before, it’s been a good experience and we’ve both learned from each other.” Tait Towers project manager James Erwin started concept development with Chris Vaughan, Es Devlin, Malcolm Birkett, and Phil Broad four months ahead of the tour, working on three key custom show elements: www.eventindustrynews.co.uk/2011/08/take-that-across-europe-with-tait.html Attachments:
