As you know, the musical that Gary co-wrote Findng Neverland is debuting on Broadway next month. A group of us are going to opening Preview Night on March 15th. We've invited Gary to join us for dinner before the show and although there is nothing definite yet, I'm still thinking positive and hoping he will agree to meet up with us.
I want to make this night even more special for him by giving him something unique and creative from us. I had the idea to give him a Congratulations card but not just some ordinary card, one personalized with our own messages and signatures. I'd like everyone to handwrite a personal message to Gary, sign it and put where you are from. Once you have done that, take a picture of your message and email it to me (email address below). You can take the picture with your phone, a digital camera, scan it to your computer, whatever will give you a clear photo because blurry/grainy photos will be tricky to use. **Refer to the photo example I included to see what I'm talking about and what I am looking for.**
I will then take all the photos of your messages and arrange them in a card so it looks as if you personally signed the inside. This way, everyone whether you are going to the show or not, you can still be a part of this special event. I want as many fan messages as possible! Let him see how many Amerian fans he really has.
** If you are attending the event, you do not have to send me a photo. I will leave a few pages blank that you can sign in person when we all meet up at the restaurant before the show. **
I would prefer to have the pictures by Sunday March 1st, but I will give the deadline to submit your picture messages until Wednesday, March 4th if necessary
